Jackie Campbell

Bee Keeper

Four years ago, Jackie Campbell was a newbie hobby beekeeper who rapidly fell under the spell of her beloved buzzies and, as a result, along with her husband now manages 106 hives between their full time ‘real jobs’.

Jackie believes that bees and bee keeping have the power to enrich lives and not just from a ‘bees are under threat worldwide and are important pollinators of food crops so must be saved’ perspective. The more time she has spent sharing her love of bees with others the more she has become convinced caring for bees can facilitate significant positive change in people young and not so young… their mental and physical health, their confidence and their connection to the natural world as they watch the seasons change and with them, the bee’s behaviour.
